Magalies Water as a water services provider supplies clean and odourless water to Water Services Authorities.

Our secondary services (Section 30), or other water services, are all aimed at helping to capacitate WSAs and WSIs to supply water to their clients typically comprise of households, communities, businesses and industries. Magalies Water eliminates all practices that have an adverse effect on the environment. It is an operational imperative to subject ourselves to the necessary environmental audits every year. Magalies Water supplies to other customers such as Mines, Industries and other WSI. This is achieved through reliable provision of quality and affordable potable water to the customers. Through a commercially sustainable business, Magalies Water is able to contribute to the economic development in the service area and support the Local Government. To be the leading provider of quality water services in South Africa. Magalies Water provides water services to Water Services Authorities (WSAs), Water Services Institutions (WSIs) and other users that positively impact the quality of life and economic growth of communities in our area of operation. The culture of Magalies Water is guided by its values, which are used as anchor-points to establish the manner in which the entity approaches its activities and relates to its stakeholders. We endeavour to meet customer requirements in all that we do. We strive for the development of a sustainable economy and the wellbeing of our community. Magalies Water provides support as an implementing agent to several programmes of national government including the Working-for-Water Programme, the aforementioned Adopt-a-River Programme and for Bulk Water Supply Infrastructure Development to various Municipalities. Magalies Water provides quality bulk water and secondary services directly to municipalities, mines and other industries which in turn helps to grow the economy and improve the lives of communities. Water is abstracted from the dams of the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) to the Treatment Plants for purification. At Magalies Water we are ever mindful that water is a life giving, yet limited resource not just in our country but around the globe. For this reason we support our national awareness campaigns such as The Last Drop, War on Leaks and Adopt-a-River. We encourage you to join us in thinking smart about water conservation. Our bulk infrastructure master plan is purposefully designed to alleviate water shortages at municipalities, bring water to newly inhabited rural areas and increase supply to mines to positively impact the livelihoods of communities and contribute to job creation.
