Playball is an age-specific sport and movement program, recognizing that the younger children in the program need to develop basic motor skills before specialized sport skills can be tackled. Playball not only offers the child maximum movement development, but also an excellent foundation in sport. Activities in the 2– 5 age group, directionality, timing, body balance, eye and foot /hand co-ordination, symmetry and mid-line crossing) and motor skills fine and gross motor co-ordination, dominancy, focus strongly on improving motor development (muscle tone, spatial orientation and motor planning). Basic skills, cricket and netball.  Every child counts at Playball, hockey, tennis, volleyball, basketball, baseball, sport techniques are incorporated in the lessons and mini matches and the older age groups are taught basic rules of soccer, we believe in results on all levels of development!.

The Playball Sport & Movement Development programme has been active in various Nursery Schools as well as Primary Schools in the Rustenburg area since We believe sport plays an important role in our childrens' education. As well as teaching children the skills and knowledge required to play various sports, there are many important life-long lessons that Playball teaches. Playball provides our children with a firm foundation of sport skills and we encourage them to attain a comfortable level of competence. We further believe children should be encouraged to participate and to perform to their full potential. Children learn values such as teamwork, discipline, pride in performance and always giving of their best and these lessons all contribute to the formation of well-rounded characters. The most important aim of our sports programme is to develop a love of sport and a healthy lifestyle, as this will benefit our children for the rest of their lives. All the coaches employed at Playball Rustenburg are qualified and competent sports coaches capable of developing appropriate sports behaviour and skills technique. Every child counts at Playball, we believe in results on all levels of development! Playball programmes have been presented by our coaches effectively, successfully and to the benefit of thousands of children world wide for more than 25 years. Our coaches training instructs, prepares, enlightens, informs, inspires, fosters and makes the coach aware of their responsibility to every child they coach. a mature attitude to both winning and handling disappointment. Our lesson material for each lesson is always prepared in advance. We always teach positively, creatively and with energy to ensure the children are challenged and have fun in every lesson.
